22-million euro allocated in Budget for Ryder Cup and Euros

22-million euro has been allocated in the Budget to support the hosting of the 2027 Ryder Cup, and co-hosting Euro 2028.

Adare Manor, owned by JP McManus, will host next year’s edition of the biennial golf tournament.

The Department of Sport attempted to block the release of an Economic Impact Study into the hosting of the Ryder Cup back in July.
