Dublin unsuccessful in attempt to get Brennan ban overturned

Dublin GAA say they have been unsuccessful in their attempts to see Ger Brennan’s ban overturned.

The football boss was suspended for 12 weeks following his clash with a member of Galway’s backroom staff during a league game last month.

He appealed the case to the Disputes Resolution Authority who met this morning but ruled against the All Ireland winner.

It means Dean Rock will take the team for tomorrow’s Leinster football game against Wicklow.

Brennan will also miss the opening two games of their Sam Maguire campaign.
