Kingdom Greyhound Stadium will host a special Fundraising Information Evening on Tuesday, 12th May at 6.30pm, offering local charities, schools, clubs, and community groups a valuable opportunity to strengthen their fundraising efforts in a simple and effective way.
The event is designed to support organisations looking to raise essential funds while easing the workload and pressure often associated with organising fundraising initiatives.
A key highlight of the evening will be the chance for one attending organisation to win a fully hosted fundraising night at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, designed to maximise fundraising potential in partnership with the stadium team.
Attendees will also hear practical, proven fundraising insights from Olivia Murphy, Regional Sales Manager, who will outline how tailored support and structured event planning can help groups achieve stronger results.
Adding to the occasion, special guest Paul Galvin will be in attendance. One of Kerry’s most recognisable Gaelic footballers, Galvin is a four-time All-Ireland winner and two-time All-Star, widely respected for his creativity, leadership, and impact on the game during his distinguished inter-county career. His presence promises an engaging and insightful contribution to the evening.
Guests will be welcomed with refreshments on arrival and invited to stay on to enjoy an evening of racing following the presentation. Representatives from the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust will also be present with their popular canine ambassadors, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about greyhound welfare and rehoming.
Speaking ahead of the event, Olivia Murphy said, “We are really looking forward to welcoming local groups to Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. Fundraising can often feel like a big challenge, but with the right support and approach, it can be straightforward, enjoyable, and very successful. This evening is about sharing that knowledge and giving something back to the community.”
The event is open to charities, schools, sports clubs, and community organisations. Visit www.KingdomGreyhoundStadium.ie to register your interest or find out more.
