The 71st edition of the Rás Tailteann got underway today, racing from Portlaoise to Kilmallock

Rowen Baker from the Isle of Man won the opening stage, with Ireland’s Ewan MacKie in second

Tomorrow’s stage begins in Rathmore with crews heading south towards Kenmare and onto the Caha pass
