
England are in action on Thursday with the first Test match of the summer taking place against New Zealand at Lord’s.
The French Open continues with the women’s singles semi-finals, where qualifier Maja Chwalinska will face Diana Shnaider and Marta Kostyuk plays Mirra Andreeva.
Northern Ireland face Guinea in an international friendly and Keely Hodgkinson will compete in the 400 metres at the Diamond League meeting in Rome.

Test summer begins
The first Test match of the summer sees England come up against New Zealand at Lord’s, their first since a disappointing Ashes campaign in Australia.
England are yet to confirm their XI, but named their 12-player squad for the opening Test earlier in the week, with Shoaib Bashir included along with uncapped duo Emilio Gay and Sonny Baker.
Thursday’s contest is the first of a three-match Test series against New Zealand, with coverage starting on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket from 10am.
There is also more cricket action in the evening as Somerset face Glamorgan in the Vitality Blast, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket from 1845.
French Open takes shape
Qualifier Maja Chwalinska will be aiming to continue her incredible run at the French Open with a clash against Diana Shnaider in the semi-finals.
Chwalinska is two victories away from matching Emma Raducanu by winning a grand slam title as a qualifier, while Shnaider booked her spot in the final four with a stunning victory over world number one Aryna Sabalenka on Wednesday.
Ukraine player Marta Kostyuk will contest Russia’s Mirra Andreeva in the other women’s singles semi-final match and TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports 4 will show live coverage.
What else is happening on Thursday?
Northern Ireland are in action with a friendly against Guinea, shown on BBC Two Northern Ireland at 1645, and there are friendly clashes for France and Spain, who play Ivory Coast and Iraq respectively.
England boss Sarina Wiegman will be addressing the media ahead of the Lionesses’ World Cup qualifying clash against Spain.
Keely Hodgkinson will also feature in Rome’s Diamond League meeting, competing in the 400 metres.
There is also plenty of golf action, with the KLM Open, Memorial Tournament and US Women’s Open all being shown on Sky Sports Golf from midday, while LIV Golf, Andalucia is on TNT Sports 2 at 1130.
