There’s a repeat of the 2018 semi-final to kick off Group L, with England up against Croatia.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal go up against D-R Congo in Houston from 6.

Their midfielder Bernardo Silva has signed for Real Madrid, the club confirmed this morning.

The 32-year-old left the Etihad at the end of the season as a free agent, and moves to the Spanish capital on a two-year deal.

While Ghana will be without midfielder Thomas Partey in their Group L opener against Panama in Toronto.

The former Arsenal player lost his appeal after being denied entry to Canada, for failing to declare five charges of rape brought against him in the UK.

Partey pleaded not guilty to seven charges to rape and one count of sexual assault last September – he is due to stand trial next year.
