Ringmahon Rangers have opted to give Bohemians a walkover in their Men’s FAI Cup second-round tie next month.
The Cork club were due to face the Premier Division side on July 19th – the same day as the finals of both the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and the World Cup.
In a statement, Ringmahon confirmed that concerns over “reduced attendances” were a factor in their decision to withdraw from the competition.
