Bori Akinola is through to tonight’s semi-finals in the men’s 100-metres at the European Athletics Championships.
The UCD sprinter came through fastest across the heats in Birmingham, with a time of 10-point-3-9 seconds.
He joins Israel Olatunde in the semis, which get underway just after 8:30 this evening.

Also tonight, Sarah Healy will compete in the Women’s 5-thousand metres final at 7:25.
And Jack Raftery is in the Men’s 400m semi-final just before ten-past-nine.
