Rhasidat Adeleke will bid to make the women’s 200 metres podium this evening at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
The Tallaght sprinter recorded a season-best time in her semi-final last night.
After struggling with injury in recent seasons, Adeleke says she has a different mindset at this stage of the campaign.
That medal race is due to start at 9.50pm.
Before that, Mark English goes in the men’s 800 metres final, which is down for decision just before 9.30pm.
Earlier today,
Sophie Becker has missed out on a place in the women’s 400 metres final at the European Athletics Championships.
She finished eighth in her semi-final in a time of 52.47 seconds.
Marcus Lawler came through his heat in the men’s 200 metres and joins Sean Aigboboh in the semi-finals later.
