The FAI has confirmed it has withdrawn support for the re-election bid of FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
In a statement this morning, the association said it had decided to rescind the letter of support supplied earlier this year.
Infantino has come under pressure following his plans to sell stakes in major FIFA tournaments, including the World Cup.

Earlier this month, UEFA confirmed it had lost confidence in the FIFA president, while the English and Welsh FAs have also withdrawn their support.
