Mona McSharry has finished in third place and Ellie McCartney has finished in eighth in the women’s 200 metres breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships.
McSharry adds another medal at the championships after she had claimed a silver medal in the 100 metres breaststroke earlier this week.
McCartney will feature in the women’s 200 metres individual medley from twenty-five-to-seven, alongside Ellen Walshe.

Before that, Jack Cassin lines up for the men’s 200 metres butterfly at 6.35.
Grace Davison and Danielle Hill are currently in action in the women’s 100 metres backstroke semi-finals.
