Georgia Hunter Bell returns in a hotly anticipated clash against Audrey Werro as athletics’ biggest names head to Zurich for the final regular meet of the season before September’s Diamond League Finals
Hunter Bell, the European 1500m champion, will take on 800m gold medallist Werro over the shorter distance, with the Netherlands’ rapidly-improving Femke Broeders-Bol also contesting an all-star clash – although Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson has pulled out.
Melissa Jefferson Wooden and Julien Alfred are in action in a star-studded women’s 100m, while Britain’s Amy Hunt will hope to improve on her silver medal in Lausanne last week.
Elsewhere, Karsten Warholm renews his rivalry with Brazil’s Alison dos Santos in the 400m hurdles, and Jakob Ingebrigsten and Olympic champion Cole Hocker headline a glittering men’s 1500m field.

When is the Zurich Diamond League?
The Zurich Diamond League takes place on Thursday 27 August at the Weltklasse Zurich, with the women’s pole vault competition taking place on Wednesday 26 August.
