The Premier League has joined other top divisions in Europe calling for reform within FIFA saying the way its governed is “not fit for purpose.”
President Gianni Infantino has faced criticism after his attempt to sell stakes in the World Cup collapsed.
The joint-statement from top leagues in England, Germany, Spain and Italy didn’t mention Infantino, but say there’s a need for more checks and balances and wider representation.
