Manchester City have confirmed they’ve lodged a “comprehensive appeal” after being found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules.
A statement says the club is “innocent of the accusations” made against it – and maintains it has “irrefutable evidence” to support this.
City call the report of the independent commission “unsafe”, saying it contains “material errors of law, principle and fact”.
