Derry City are refusing to comment on claims made by the PFAI in relation to winger James McClean.
A statement released by the union on behalf of McClean states that he has overcome a hip problem and is fit to play despite not being involved with the squad since July.
It claims that McClean was signed in January without going through a medical but that in Septemeber the club consulted an orthopaedic surgeon who cleared him to play
