Munster waiting on update from citing commissioner

Munster say they’re awaiting an update from the citing commissioner after an alleged incident of foul play in their defeat to Leinster in the URC.

Gavin Coombes accused an unnamed Leinster player of grabbing him in the groin area in a ruck late in the first-half at the Aviva Stadium.

While no action was taken on the field, it’s understood that the citing officer has video evidence of the incident, which could lead to a sanction.
