For the second time this week, Argentina and England clash in a sizeable sporting clash as the nations’ two rugby teams meet in the Nations Championship.

Argentina were the victors on the football pitch on Wednesday as the defending champions booked their place in the World Cup final. Steve Borthwick’s squad have been keeping their heads down in Buenos Aires this week, steering clear of any possible trouble – though were forced to change hotels as they sought to avoid the celebrations that followed England’s semi-final defeat in Atlanta.

There is reason to believe this could be a heated renewal of a rivalry, too. The Pumas were incensed at Twickenham in November, with Tom Curry branded a bully by Argentina head coach Felipe Contepomi following a skirmish in the tunnel. England boast an excellent record against Contepomi’s team over the last few years, and won twice in South America last summer. Can they secure another significant success to continue to ease the pressure on Borthwick?
