England cricketer Brydon Carse is under investigation following an incident at a nightclub where he appeared to be put into handcuffs by police.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said the investigation is underway following an incident in Derby on Saturday night.
The Durham bowler is in England’s squad to face Pakistan in the second Test of their series at Lord’s this week.
Former England Test captain Ben Stokes, who is Carse’s team-mate at Durham, is also seen towards the back of the video.
His England and Durham team-mate Matthew Potts can also be seen talking to Carse while he is surrounded by four police officers.
“We are aware of an incident which is reported to have taken place in Derby last night, and are currently investigating,” an ECB statement said on Sunday.
“We will provide a further update when possible.”
