Russian Mirra Andreeva has won her first grand slam tennis title with victory at the French Open.

The teenager clinched a straight-sets win over Polish qualifier Maya Chwalinska in the women’s singles final at Roland-Garros.

Britain’s Alfie Hewitt couldn’t add to his wheelchair doubles success, going down 6-3, 6-4 to top seed Tokito Oda of Japan in the decider.
