The Republic of Ireland’s Nations League game against Israel in Hungary tomorrow will go ahead, following hours of uncertainty.
The FAI says players voted by a significant majority in favour of playing the fixture after holding lengthy talks at their team hotel.
Reports had suggested several players, including goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, were considering withdrawing from the game.

FAI chief executive David Courell confirmed the decision ahead of the team’s delayed training session in Debrecen.
Boss Heimir Hallgrimsson told a press conference that only one player, Gavin Bazunu has pulled out of the squad.
