She may be disguised under a different surname, with 11 All Stars and 10 All Ireland Football titles, it still doesn’t hide the wonderful ability that the Ladies Gaelic Football Association – Hall of Fame Legend, Mary Jo Curran has with her new talent being displayed on the golf course.
Having swapped the O Neill ball for Titleist, the relatively new to golf Mary Jo has really started to show some great form on the course. Despite horrendous weather conditions at the weekend, for the second year in a row in the 3Ts competition, Mary Jo stormed home with a wonderful score of 39 points. To her delight she will be heading to either the K-Club or Mount Juliet in Autumn to participate in the 24th year of the wonderful 3Ts (Turning the Tide of Suicide) Annual Golf Tournament.
Lady Captain Mary Garvey and all the Ladies at Beaufort Golf Club would like to thank Tom Tobin (Killarney Medals & Trophies Ltd) for his wonderful sponsorship of the 3Ts competition. And it is great to see so many ladies participating in this competition.
