The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday a body had been recovered at the location, five days after Rivera was reported missing.
The news conference is scheduled for 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm BST.
Officials have been searching for Rivera since 8 July, when she went missing after renting a pontoon boat with her four-year-old son.
Rivera, 33, began her acting career at an early age and rose to global fame as cheerleader Santana Lopez in Glee, which ran on Fox from 2009 to 2015.

Rivera’s police has been at the lake every day, according to Sheriff Bill Ayub.
A post-mortem examination will be performed.
There is no indication of foul play nor any indication that Rivera died by suicide.
Authorities say they are confident that the body found this morning in Lake Piru is that of Naya Rivera.
