Racing abandoned at Bellewstown following Dylan Browne McGonagle fall

Racing had to been abandoned at Bellewstown last evening

A fall in the opening race saw jockey Dylan Browne McGonagle hospitalised.

Further slips occurred in the second, with stewards confirming the remaining races would not go ahead.

In a statement last night, IHRB said Dylan is conscious following his fall

The jockey will be out for “a number of weeks” but is expected to make a full recovery.

The tricentenary celebrations are due to continue today, with a national hunt card due off at 3:50
