West Ham co-Chairman David Sullivan has left the club with immediate effect.

In a statement, he’s said he’s leaving due to “factually incorrect and entirely false, decades-old allegations concerning his personal life that are due to be published.”

Mr Sullivan denies any illegal conduct and says he’s taken the decision to step down in order to avoid disruption to the club.
