Lionel Messi made a surprise cameo in a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside Tom Holland.
In the latest teaser trailer, released on Tuesday (30 June), the Argentinian footballer enters a cafe where Peter Parker (Holland) is sitting to look for the superhero.
Starstruck by the iconic footballer, Peter quickly ditches his cup of coffee and changes into his Spider-Man costume. They then swing across the Manhattan skyline.
Messi is currently in the US for the World Cup, where he has already set a record for scoring in seven consecutive appearances at the tournament.
