John Mitchels withstood a late surge from Firies to win their opening Group 3 game in this year’s Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club Football Championship.
The Tralee side won by two points on a scoreline of 1-20 to 2-15.

In the Kerry Petroleum Premier Junior Championship Group 4, it finished Reenard 1:13 (16) St Senan’s 3:15 (24) – an 8-point win for St Senans.
