Lionel Messi’s father and agent Jorge ((pron: Hor-hay)) has died aged 68 following a long illness.
He represented the Argentina star since he was 14, helping his son become one of the greatest footballers of all-time.
The Messi family revealed during this summer’s World Cup Jorge was dealing with a “health-related situation”.

He died in his hometown Rosario early this morning.
