A horse owned by King Charles III and Queen Camilla won at the Listowel Harvest Festival today.
The British monarchs’ Reaching High, which was trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, won in the opening maiden hurdle this afternoon.
Irishracing.com reports that Willie Mullins believes it’s the first horse owned by a reigning British monarch to win in this country since we gained independence over 100 years ago.

Reaching High won the €15,000 John J Galvin Maiden Hurdle and was the 1/4 favourite.
King Charles and Queen Camilla were not present at Listowel.
