- ITV World Cup presenter Laura Woods alongside pundits Juan Mata, Karen Carney, and Patrick Vieira, were broadcasting from an outdoor rooftop studio in New York.
- They were covering the Switzerland vs Bosnia & Herzegovina match on Thursday, 18 June, when strong winds began to affect their live broadcast.
- The severe weather conditions caused the panellists’ clothes and hair to be blown around, making it difficult to continue the outdoor segment.
- As a result, the entire team was compelled to move indoors, abandoning their original rooftop setup due to the fierce winds.
- Laura Woods confirmed the relocation, explaining that they had moved to an indoor studio to escape the wind before commencing coverage of the Canada vs Qatar match.
