Defender Harry Maguire says Manchester United are determined to build on last season’s strong finish as they prepare to begin their Premier League campaign at newly promoted Hull City on Saturday.
They looked unlikely to finish in the top three when Michael Carrick replaced Ruben Amorim in January, but the former midfielder oversaw a dramatic improvement.
Maguire believes there’s plenty more to come from the team under Carrick’s leadership.
