Eddie Howe has left his role as Newcastle United head coach after nearly five years in charge.
The 48-year-old has reportedly informed the club that he is taking a break from management.
The former Bournemouth boss arrived at St James’ Park in 2021, and guided the club to EFL Cup glory in 2025, as well as two Champions League campaign.

Matthias Jaissle, manager of Saudi club Al-Ahli, is being tipped as Howe’s successor.
