Eamonn Fitzmaurice is in line to succeed Padraic Joyce as Galway football manager.
Joyce stepped down as manager after seven years in charge earlier this month – he led his county to 4 Connacht senior football championships and 2 All-Ireland finals
At inter-county level, Eamonn Fitzmaurice most recently managed the Kerry footballers between 2013 and 2018 – winning the All-Ireland in 2014
